Local Backup Solution – Managed

Your existing backups (whatever solution you currently operate) occur each day and an email is generated by the backup process to inform you if your backup was successful or not.

These emails are monitored and actioned by ACS and copied to any authorised users that you nominate. Resolution of problems will be charged at our standard rates.

Backups are inspected each week to ensure that the data is valid.

You are responsible for secure offsite management.

Remote Backup Solution – Standard

The Remote Backup solution provides your business with a higher level of disaster recovery and business continuity.

ACS provides this service to many clients currently and have a well-structured process in place.

The key components to the service are ShadowProtect and Fortigate.
ShadowProtect is the leading imaging software available, allowing for rapid restoration of baxckup images from any hardware to any hardware.

The Fortigate security device allows ACS to build a secure VPN (Virtual Private Network) between the ACS Datacentre and your server for the secure transmission of backup data each night

Backups are run at specific intervals (can be run hourly or daily) and our active monitoring system generates reports on the status of the backup process.

Any anomalies are investigated by ACS and results are copied to any authorised users that you nominate.

Remote Backup Solution – Enhanced

The Remote Backup – Enhanced solution provides your business with an even higher level of disaster recovery and business continuity through geographical data duplication.

This solution utilises the same technology as the Standard Remote Backup Solution – Shadow Protect and Fortigate, with the added service of daily data copies being sent to the ACS backup Server in Auckland or Wellington.

Backups are run at specific intervals (can be run hourly or daily) and our active monitoring system generates reports on the status of the backup process.

Business Continuity Solution – Standard

The Business Continuity solution includes the services provided under Remote Backup – Standard, while adding the capability to perform a rapid restore of your server (or servers) from the backup data to virtual servers located in the ACS Datacentre in Christchurch.

This means that in the event of a total site failure, ACS can restore your server environment within 4 hours and provide secure access to your authorised users from any location, provided they have access to any internet service.

Business Continuity Solution – Enhanced

The Business Continuity solution includes the services provided under Remote Backup – Enhanced, while adding the capability to perform a rapid restore of your server (or servers) from the backup data to virtual servers located in the ACS Datacentre in Christchurch and in Auckland/Wellington.

This means that in the event of a total site failure, ACS can restore your server environment within 4 hours and provide secure access to your authorised users from any location, provided they have access to any internet service.
